The mission of Charity for a Sustainable World is to increase the well-being of all humankind.
Owning a home makes people HAPPY!
The Charity is pleased to announce the new project "THE HAPPY HOME" for veterans, seniors, low-income families, and individuals.
A priority goal of this project is to increase the well-being of low-income individuals and families in two ways: to prevent them from homelessness and make them primary homeowners instead of tenants, even if they live on benefits after the post-COVID period.
"Happy Home" is affordable, sustainable housing in a 500-square-foot log cabin with one bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The cabin has a cathedral ceiling that allows for the integration of a loft, and the cabin stands on a concrete foundation.
Each home features rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient lighting, and locally sourced building materials, and involves local labor, creating jobs and strengthening community resilience.
The project is unique because it enables each low-income individual and family in California to become a primary homeowner of a 500 sq. ft log cabin under the terms of a rent-to-own property, even if they live on benefits only.
Tiny homes are becoming increasingly popular as people look to downsize their living situations after COVID-19.
Such tiny log Cabins are legal and comply with all California Green Building Standards, Sustainability Building Codes, and local zoning requirements.
The precut and preassembled log cabins can be constructed everywhere in California.
Green construction financing of the housing project for the bright future of California's low-income residents is possible with donations only.
